What is Spin Rewriter?

Spin Rewriter was developed by Aaron Sustar (September 2011) and his team.

It is a spinning tool that creates a unique version of an original article.

Google can’t flag Spin Rewriter as duplicate content. All spin rewriting tools aim to create high-quality content.

Spin Rewriter is able to spin content (articles) and maintain a high level of readability. It can spin articles at the paragraph and sentence levels.

Spin Rewriter uses Emulated Natural Language technology (ENL). This allows it to do all of this while still being easy to read.

This technology gives SR an advantage with synonym selection. It can also change the tense for certain sentence parts! In the tutorial video, we’ll show you how to spin them.

What does Spun Content look like?

Although explaining content spinning can seem complicated, how article-spinners work is a good starting point. The original articles are converted into a spintax form by using Spin Rewriter or similar tools. Here’s an example:

Basicly, spinners take original content and find synonyms and/or alternative words from their synonym database to replace it. Then they convert the content into spintax format as shown above.

Spin Rewriter Tutorial Overview

This tutorial will focus on Rewrite a single article, which is the most used tool feature.

Spin Rewriter is reviewed by many people, but very few video reviews are done. Here’s my best attempt at it!

Start with a Seed Article

Spin Rewriter will most likely give you an original article. You can copy the article in the text box below if it is.

Notice: If you have already spun content, the section “fetching an Article” can be skipped. It is only for demonstration purposes.

Spin Rewriter can help you find seed articles if you don’t own them (which is what this demo requires).

Click on the Fetch New Article link, then enter a seed keyword. In this case, I selected marketing.

This allows me to select from a wide range of articles (keep in mind, however, that I am a spin rewriter gold member (this upsell).

I chose The Significance of Email Marketing as my article. Spin Rewriter populates the text box and we are ready to go.

I now have an article to demonstrate the process. Let’s start the tutorial.

How to Use Spin Rewriter

Spin Rewriter makes it easy to spin content. However, there are settings you should pay attention to in order for quality articles. Let’s start.

Step 1: Configure settings

Step 1.A. Get familiar with the Settings Tab

Remember that spinning software is designed to transform original content into a unique piece of content. These advanced options will increase the uniqueness of your final spun article, but they can also make it less easy to read.

• Automatically rewrite complete sentences
• Automatically rewrite entire paragraphs
• Automatedly write additional paragraphs or summaries
• Automatedly change the structure of sentences and phrases

These toggles are important because when you receive your final product, you will notice if it is less readable but more unique.

Spin Rewriter will provide you with a uniqueness percentage in the third stage. This allows you to re-configure advanced options. Spin Rewriter then spins the content on the same step.

These settings will remain off for now.

Step 1.B. Get familiar with the Spin Rewriter “Word & Phrases” Settings Tab

These are by default ready to use. These can be changed only if necessary for seed content processing.

These slider settings ( Make articles readable or more unique? ) are left as-is and words are added to the Protected Keywords Section. These protected keywords are words I do not want Spin Rewriter to spin (i.e. I don’t want them replaced by an alternative or synonym).

In this instance, I will add email as well as marketing the protected list.

If you are having trouble getting unique spun content, the “One-Level and Multi-Level Nested Spinning?” option in Advanced Settings tab is a good choice. It’s unlikely that we’ll need it, but it’s nice to have it.

Okay, that was quite a bit of information about “setting”, but it was worthwhile to be covered so you can properly configure the tool. Let’s get on to the next step.

Step 2: Spin your article

Once everything is set up, I will click the One Click Rewrite button.

Wait a moment, or less, until Spin Rewriter gets to work.

Step 3: Create Unique Versions of Your Article

Spin Rewriter will send your article to you in spintax format once step 2 is completed.

It will also allow you to extract unique versions of this spintax-formatted article (ie. You will be able to view multiple versions of your article with just a click. This can be done by clicking on the Create a unique button.

Note : You can paste the syntax form spun article onto WordPress and publish it. It will display one of thousands of unique options.

As you can see this generated spun article’s uniqueness is 94%. My preference is to keep it greater than 95% but each person is unique.

Spin Rewriter’s greatest feature is its ability to click the Create a unique button repeatedly until you find an article with the score you desire.

If I was spinning an article, and couldn’t get it to 95% or more, I could click on the Settings button to enable or disable any of the toggles.

I was able to achieve my 95% uniqueness score in this example.

You’ll be able to see that Spin Rewriter does not produce King’s English. It’s still manageable and the content is still easily readable.

This is why many SEO service providers still use this type content to build backlinks. I believe that spun articles such as the one shown above are good for building tier 2 or 3, or even 3 links with Web2.0 websites, or mass-page affiliate marketing sites.

The Upsells

It has been quite some time since I have used Spin Rewriter’s sales funnel. Although things might have changed, there are still two upsells that I am certain of. These are:

• WordPress Plugin ($47 once-only)
• GOLD Membership ($47 once-only)

GOLD membership was purchased because it allowed me to access their VIP SEO Content on-Demand Service. These pieces of content were used to create Web 2.0 content for me back when it was for anchor text diversity.

My second reason for purchasing the membership was that it allowed my virtual assistant limited access to the Spin Rewriter account so he could do some spinning for me (without him having to login details).

The WordPress plugin was not necessary for me to publish spun articles that were based on articles from my WordPress money websites. I opted out of it. However, it could be very useful. I have yet to try it.

If you are sure what Spin Rewriter will be used for, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this version. If you have the option, I recommend purchasing the lifetime license. This is a better option than paying monthly, annually or forever.

What are the best places to use Spin Rewriter for internet marketing? Answer: In multiple situations. However, most often, they involve Search Engine Optimization, (SEO), which is a popular traffic source for the online marketing industry.

These are just a few examples of popular uses for these types of articles:

Masspage Affiliate Sites

Mass-page websites are SEO affiliate marketing websites in a churned and burned style that some affiliates use, along with the “authority” sites.

They create one piece of content per product and target ALL keywords that are associated with it. There can be between 25 and 100 articles per keyword variant.

It is important to rank as many long-tail variations posts on Google as possible. Surprisingly this works and Google has yet not to hammer down on these sites.

Spinner tools such as Spin Rewriter are available. This allows affiliates to create one post per product, spin it, then use it to target all keywords variations. This strategy is also possible with a few inexpensive WordPress plugins. However, it works astonishingly well from a ROI perspective.

HTML 2.0 Content

SEO professionals or SEO providers can also use spinners when creating page content for “Web 2.0” and PBN websites. (Both of these types of sites are unique, as are their backlink purposes, which is a topic for another time).

These backlinks can be obtained from platforms like Fiverr and Legiit. Some services use spun content (but not all) to create the articles for which the backlinks will appear. Spinned content, according to SEOs, isn’t good as Google will recognize it. However, most people use Spine Rewriter due to its uniqueness score of % (more soon).

Use Other SEO Tools to Integrate with Spin Tools

Many tools that are related to SEO, such as article writing or backlink building can be integrated with Spin Rewriter article spinners. This allows you to spin directly in the software that you are using without needing to log in elsewhere or copy/paste spintax.

Money Robot (MR), for instance, is a backlinking SEO software that allows you to use Spin Rewriter within the MR dashboard once you have set your settings and entered your PAI Key (you receive this post SR purchase).

Would you recommend it on Money Sites?

Although I can understand how this software could get bad press because it is marketed as a “real marketers don’t spend any money on writers” cloud-based application, I wouldn’t recommend it for money sites (blogs you care deeply about and have the potential of being extremely successful). Article quality is paramount.

It is a great content-spinning software but I don’t believe it will be able to produce quality content for my “best x and y”, “product review”, or information blog posts for my affiliate sites (aka niche websites). There are a few reasons.

Reason 1 : my spun content would be absolutely crushed by the competition simply because no tool can create content at the same level as a skilled writer (artificial intelligence has not yet been invented). Reason #2: It would most likely not convert website visitors to leads and it wouldn’t convert for affiliate content.

What do you think search engines like Google will reward? Ranking on Google is a long-term endeavor. People will abandon your page if they see that your page is not easy to read.

For the above scenarios, I recommend that you use this tool and either write the content yourself or hire a writer to do it. However, this is my opinion as an SEO specialist.

Is Article Spinning Legal?

First, please take my answer with a grain. I am not a lawyer. Although spinning content isn’t illegal, it is a highly frowned upon topic. More details in our Is Article Spinning Legal? post.

What does their WordPress plugin do?

In case you didn’t know, the WordPress plugin SR is a $47 extra-cost add-on once you have purchased their software. This means that it is not included in your SR trial or lifetime purchase.

This feature allows you to keep your website full of new content by spinning previously published content within a few days. This will make Google crawlers like your site and help you get more rankings.

This can be a good idea, but will it benefit your business? It all depends on the type of site you are building. The plugin might be useful if you are an SEO link provider.

The WP plugin also finds relevant articles and spins them to create new posts. This plugin is unique in that you can choose the frequency at which you want posts to be published. Every day, every week, each month, etc. ).

The WP plugin allows you to go straight from Step 3 (in our tutorial above) and publish directly to your WordPress website. You can also upload stock photos (which you can integrate with Pixabay and other free stock photo sites), as well as videos from the video database (You Tube) within the dashboard.

It’s not bad. It’s not worth it, but it could be for you.

Does Their Customer Support Work Well?

Because I haven’t experienced any major problems, I can’t speak highly enough about their support. But I do remember a time when a support ticket took longer than I was happy with.

WordAI is a great tool. I have used it before and can confirm that it is in the same league as Spin Rewriter. However, it is not as user-friendly as Spin Rewriter and it doesn’t make the best spinner.

WordAI’s advanced article spinning is comparable to Spin Rewriter (SR still offers slightly more features). It does have a higher monthly cost, and no money-back guarantee according to their website. I also don’t believe it offers a lifetime option.

Word AI is a spinner that can support other languages. It can spin articles in English and French as well as Spanish.
